Joe Davis Locksmiths has been operating since 1947 and services Port Elizabeth, the Eastern Cape and further afield. In just over 70 years, the company has grown to employ over 40 employees, of which 14 are highly trained locksmiths.

Joe Davis has become synonymous with excellent service, varied merchandise and strong, committed well trained staff. They service industrial, commercial and residential areas.

While still offering traditional locksmithing, the shop's services have expanded to include a wide variety of electronic security devices including safe time delay units, electronic safes, tag and card access control systems, remote transmitters and the servicing and maintenance of booms and high security key master systems, as well as door automation, and garage / gate automation.

Joe Davis supply and install security security locking systems and products to homeowners, industry, government institutions and universities. Having over 30 key-cutting machines allows them to offer a 'full house' locksmithing service. The firm also offers electronic locking systems, installation of electrically operated doors and programming of transponder keys. They supply and install ignition barrels, door locks, boot locks, petrol caps, glove compartments and various remote controls.

Products include access control, door security technologies, slimline magnetic locks, restricted access, intercoms, panic exit hardware, locks for any application, master keyed locks, keyed alike locks, campus locks, safes and door automation.

Joe Davis offers large crane truck transport for heavy machinery/ equipment. ATM machines, safes, strongroom doors and the warehousing for short and long term periods.
